We are notifing customers for you to be able to receive pricing on one or both replacement options linked below. The timing also enables you to request a quotation on the replacement product of your choice using end-of-year funds you may have left over, or submit for budget approval for next year's budget. Additionally, we are offering a trade-in discount for your old machine.
We will provide a trade-in discount for your obsolete tester when either of the tester options below are purchased.
Group 1: LTCM5, LTCM6, TCM200, TCM201, and TCD200: $350.00
Group 2: TCM500 and TCD500: $600.00
Group 3: TCD1000: $850.00

Meier sells two options for you to consider as a replacement for you current Chatillon tester that we provide a full suite of services for including technical support, installation and training, calibration, repair, and application support. We have two product lines for you to consider. Both options offer various models with different force capacities to meet or exceed your current tester's capacity and capabilities with some differences. The Mark-10 ESM Series is a single column product line that utilize hand-held force gauges or remote load cell with indicator for force measurements and are most like your current tester but with far more capabilities and scalability. The ESM Series are available in force capacities of 300 lbf (1.5 kN), 750 lbf (3.4 kN), and 1500 lbf (6.7 kN) and include a unique modular controller function to accommodate a wide range of budgets and applications. These testers also come with a three-year warranty. The ESM Series is highly configurable as you can see from the pictures above. They are available with extended length to accommodate larger specimens or to test materials with higher elongations. The ESM Series can be configured to mount on custom tables to enable testing of large finished products or specimens in the open-area under the table. You can buy them with safety shields to meet safety requirements for specimens that spray shards of the material during break testing to protect the operator. They can also be configured with different test speeds to meet your specific testing application requirements. Software can also be added as an option that can be configured to provide you with full machine control and/or data acquisition. Mark-10 offers multiple force gauge product lines with different force capacities, test capabilities, and at different price points that can be used on these testers.

This CS2 Series testers are highly configurable for a wide variety of testing applications and are available in two models and can be configured with a wide variety of grips and fixtures to meet your testing application requirements. The CS2-225 has a force capacity of 225 lbf (1 kN) and the CS2-1100 is 1100 lbf (5 kN). These testers utilize load cells to measure force that are available at various force capacities to measure forces down in the gram force range and all the way up to the maximum capacity of both models. Multi-step programs can easily established using the intuitive step-by step test method profile creator. The CS2 is an update to the original CS Series Testers. The new CS2 update includes a new touch screen 2 in 1 computer that can be used on the tester mounting or on your desktop and includes revised software.

The Chatillon TCM series is the work horse for production environments and has very similar features to the legacy TCM series. This motorized tester combined with an attached DF series force gauge can be used for tensile, compression, peel, top load, and flexural testing. The small foot print with cycling, run to external limit, and run to force limit features make this ideal for locations with limited bench space. The haptic feedback flat panel is ideal for cleaning in dirty environments. The TCM is availble in two capacities and with standard or extended column and can be combined with ForceTest software for a powerful testing tool.
